Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on commercial trucks. You will review repair orders, gather tools and parts, and ensure safety standards are followed for each job.

The role includes documenting findings and mentoring junior technicians to uphold quality service. Qualified applicants have a Red Seal or Journeyman license, CVI certification, and at least five years in the truck/transport sector, with Cummins

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• CVI License.
• Cummins experience and training.
• Experience with Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years’ experience in the truck/transport industry.
• Willingness to participate in dealer training at Red Deer location.

Responsibilities

• Review repair orders and gather tools, information, and parts before servicing.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and keep work area clean and organized.
• Document findings and completed work; communicate issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support transitions to next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices and share skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification. (Apprentices with truck experience may be considered)
• A CVI License
• A proven industry background with Cummins experience and training.
• Experience with Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years’ experience working in the truck and transport industry.
