Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. in Alberta is seeking a Service Technician (Diesel Engine) to support fleet maintenance and repair work. You will review repair orders, perform inspections and diagnostics, and document findings.

The role requires a Red Seal journeyman and Cummins certification, with a background in the truck and transport sector. You will mentor apprentices, promote safety, and ensure a clean, organized work area while delivering high-quality service across our dealer network in multiple

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• Cummins engine certification and experience with Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years’ experience working in the truck and transport industry.
• Willingness to participate in dealer training at Red Deer location.
• Pride and professionalism in everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to diesel engines following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The Service Technician (Diesel Engine) is responsible for supporting our customers with their fleet engine maintenance and repairs including the following:

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to diesel engines following established procedures and safety standards.
