Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to support fleet maintenance and repairs at our Alberta/BC dealerships. The role focuses on inspections, diagnostics, and high-quality repairs, with mentoring responsibilities for technicians and apprentices.

You will work in a dealer environment with extensive training opportunities and a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. A Red Seal/HDW Journeyman qualification is required, and Cummins experience is highly

• Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• CVI License is an asset.
• Experience with Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years' experience in the truck and transport industry.
• Pride and professionalism in everything you do.
• Willingness to participate in training at our Red Deer facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare service jobs by reviewing repair orders, tools, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs per procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and keep work area clean and organized.
• Document findings and completed work; communicate additional issues.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support transition to next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices; share skills and guidance.
• Promote a safe work environment; maintain tools and equipment.

We are looking for a Service Technician with the drive and ambition to succeed in a dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Service Technician is responsible for assisting our customers with their fleet maintenance and repairs including the following:

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• A CVI License is an asset
• A proven industry background with Cummins experience and training.
• Experience with Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years' experience working in the truck and transport industry.
• A desire to challenge yourself, and a willingness to embrace the extensive dealer training opportunities we provide through our dedicated training facility located at our Red Deer location.
