Job summary

McDougall Energy Inc. in Teeswater is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our Operations team. You will install propane and fuel tanks, diagnose issues, and maintain gas piping while upholding safety and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of HVAC experience, valid gas technician credentials (G2/G3 preferred), and strong customer service skills. We offer competitive hourly pay, overtime after 44 hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• G2/G3 Gas Technician credentials or license
• 1–5 years HVAC experience
• OBT, PM3, LP licenses considered asset
• Boom truck and/or forklift experience considered an asset
• Valid Driver’s Licenses – DZ considered an asset
• Strong problem solving and customer service skills
• Solid time management and organizational skills with ability to plan service routes and optimize efficiencies

Responsibilities

• Installing propane and fuel tanks, regulators, and gas piping
• Completing regulatory inspections Oil “comprehensive”, Propane “gas check”, Commercial Fuel“PFO Inspection”
• Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with contractors
• Identifying deficiencies and follow-up with customers/contractors to resolve
• Maintaining propane tanks; purging, re-valve, reconditioning
• Completing other duties as required, including warehousing and scheduling
• Adhering to all safety policies and procedures

About The Opportunity

McDougall Energy is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our team in Teeswater. The Service Technician is an integral member of the Operations team responsible for providing exceptional service with an unwavering focus on safety. Their technical skills will be a crucial part in delivering our commitment to our customers.

Reporting To The Operations Manager, Responsibilities Include
