McDougall Energy Inc. in Burford, ON, is seeking a skilled Professional Delivery Driver to transport products safely while delivering excellent customer service.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will perform vehicle inspections, manage bulk inventory on the truck, and work outdoors in all weather on a 4-on-4 night shift.

We offer a competitive pay of $34.00 per hour, overtime after 44 hours, paid training, safety bonuses, RRSP matching, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years driving experience with a valid DZ license.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good numeric and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work a 4 on 4 night shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bulk product safely to client fleets, equipment, generators, or tanks.
• Maintain inventory control on the truck.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Use handheld device to monitor fuel flow and disposal.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

McDougall Energy is looking for a skilled and safety focused individual to fill the position of Professional Delivery Driver at our Burford Operation.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of products while upholding a high standard of customer service. Safety is paramount, and we expect our drivers to demonstrate safe driving practices and professional conduct on the roads and when interacting with customers. Reporting to the Operations Manager, responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk product to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
• Inventory control of bulk product on truck
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customer needs
• Use a handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and disposed from the truck

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum <2-year> driving experience with a valid <DZ license>
• Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a team player
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work a 4 on 4 night shift rotation.

This position is physically demanding, involving significant lifting and pulling in an outdoor climate. The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass pre- and random drug & alcohol testing and must have a safety and compliance mindset.
