Job summary

McDougall Energy, a Canadian family-owned business, is seeking a Full Time Professional Delivery Driver for its St Marys operation, on a regular Monday to Friday dayshift with overtime as needed. You will safely transport bulk products and provide strong customer service.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will inspect vehicles, manage bulk inventory on the truck, work outdoors in all weather, and use a handheld device to monitor fuel input and disposal, while meeting safety and compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years driving experience with a valid DZ license.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a team player.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe delivery of bulk product to client fleets or equipment within the designated area.
• Inventory control of bulk product on truck.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Use handheld computer to monitor fuel input and disposal from the truck.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

McDougall Energy is looking for a skilled and safety focused individual to fill the position of Full Time Professional Delivery Driverat our St Marysoperation on a regular Monday to Friday dayshift, with overtime requested to meet customer needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of products while upholding a high standard of customer service. Safety is paramount, and we expect our drivers to demonstrate safe driving practices and professional conduct on the roads and when interacting with customers. Reporting to the Operations Manager, responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk product to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
• Inventory control of bulk product on truck
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customer needs
• Use a handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and disposed from the truck

ABOUT YOU

This position is physically demanding, involving significant lifting and pulling in an outdoor climate. The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass pre- and random drug & alcohol testing and must have a safety and compliance mindset.
