565 Venture Dr Moncton NB Day Shift Full-Time

Mon - Fri 7 : 30 am 4 : 30pm40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily operations of the service department ensuring efficient scheduling workflow and timely job completion.
  • Monitor work orders and service schedules to maximize productivity and meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure service operations comply with company policies safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and the Director of Operations to address staffing concerns recruitment needs and personnel issues within the Service Department.
  • Work closely with the Parts Department to ensure timely availability of required parts for repairs and maintenance.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and concerns ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and improve service profitability by managing labor efficiency reducing rework and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of service work warranties and customer interactions.
  • Ensure team members participate in PACCAR & Cummins training programs in collaboration with the District Technical Manager to maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices enhancing customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the service department maintains high standards of cleanliness organization and safety compliance.
  • Serve as a member of the Health & Safety Committee as a Service representative actively participating in meetings and initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers vendors and internal departments to enhance service operations.
  • Work closely with the District Service Manager to discuss and resolve complex service issues to provide timely and satisfactory solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need :

  • Education : Red Seal Technician in Truck & Transport or Heavy Equipment.
  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in service management preferably in the heavy equipment trucking or automotive industry.

Additional Strengths :

  • Ability to manage workflow set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of service operations repair procedures and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
