Job description

All Type Electric Inc. (ATE) is currently accepting resumes for the position of electrical journeyperson.

Reporting to the Fort McMurray service manager, this role involves providing coverage for all ATE aggregate clients in the Fort McMurray region, averaging 10-15 days per month. Additional time may be spent providing electrical services to clients in Calgary or Edmonton based on residence.

Qualifications:

• Valid Alberta Journeyperson Certificate and/or Inter Provincial designation
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Extensive knowledge of motor controls, variable frequency drives, and soft starters
• Understanding of aggregate systems, including crushers, conveyor systems, and cones
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (asset)
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proven problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• Valid training certificates: CSTS, fall arrest, first aid, WHMIS, Leadership for Safety Excellence, aerial work platform
• Desire to learn, grow, and succeed professionally

Pay: Starting from $39.00 per hour

Additional pay: Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday with overtime and weekend availability

Experience: 5 years preferred

Licence / Certification: Valid driver’s license required
