Hansler Industries, part of Leavitt Industrial Group, is seeking a Service Dispatcher in Mississauga, Ontario. The role coordinates service jobs, assigns technicians, and manages orders to meet customer requirements.

The position is onsite with a competitive benefits package and RRSP matching. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in automotive or equipment service, strong MS Office skills, and excellent organization and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in automotive or equipment service, dispatching, or scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and assign jobs to Service Technicians.
• Manage new and ongoing work orders in an ERP system.
• Prioritize and schedule appointments using the service scheduler.
• Communicate with Service and Parts teams to optimize workloads and meet customer needs.
• Manage incoming job leads using established processes.
• Maintain professional communication with customers.
• Review invoices and manage billing tasks.
• Ensure adherence to safety programs and incident reporting when needed.

The Opportunity

Hansler Industries is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Dispatcher to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. As the Service Dispatcher, you will be responsible for the coordination of Service jobs, including scheduling and assigning work to Technicians, and ensuring that services offered meet or exceed the requirements of internal and external customers.

As the Service Dispatcher, your key responsibilities will include:

• Scheduling, coordinating, and assigning jobs to Service Technicians
• Managing new and ongoing work orders using an ERP system
• Utilizing the service scheduler to prioritize and schedule appointments
• Communicating with Service and Parts team members to ensure workloads are optimized, and customer needs are managed proactively
• Managing incoming job leads using established processes
• Maintaining professional and effective communication with customers
• Managing the WIP Report and billing for customers, including reviewing invoice proposals for accuracy
• Ensuring adherence to safety programs and initiatives, and ensuring incident reports are completed when needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• 1 to 3 years of previous work experience related to automotive or equipment service, dispatching, or scheduling
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent organizational skills and planning skills
• A customer-oriented mindset
• Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers at all levels
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in parallel

The base pay range for this role is: $52,000 to $57,000 annually, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Mississauga, Ontario.
