Job summary

Bothwell-Accurate Co. Inc. is seeking a Service Coordinator to organize commercial service, maintenance and small projects from initial request through completion. You will schedule field technicians, coordinate materials, and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes strong planning, communication, and problem-solving to deliver exceptional service on Ontario projects, with onsite teamwork and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management or related field (asset).
  • Experience coordinating service operations or field projects.
  • Strong customer service and ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Jonas, Autodesk Construction Cloud is an asset.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate commercial service, maintenance, repair, and small projects from initial request to completion.
  • Schedule field technicians, crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to meet expectations.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact with timely updates on scheduling and status.
  • Prepare and manage work orders, purchase orders, and project files.
  • Coordinate material procurement and deliveries to support work.
  • Monitor schedules, labour allocation, and progress; identify conflicts early.
  • Communicate with Project Managers, Estimators, Supervisors, field staff, suppliers, and customers.
  • Track service requests, warranties, deficiencies, and close-out docs.
  • Assist with quotations, change orders, and invoicing support.
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Participate in internal planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously while delivering excellent service.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate commercial service, maintenance, repair, and small project work from initial customer request through project completion
  • Schedule field technicians, service crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity and meet customer expectations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates on scheduling, project status, and service requests
  • Prepare and manage work orders, purchase orders, service documentation, and project files
  • Coordinate material procurement and deliveries to support scheduled work
  • Monitor project schedules, labour allocation, and job progress while proactively identifying scheduling conflicts and potential delays
  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Estimators, Supervisors, field staff, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth project execution
  • Track service requests, work orders, warranties, deficiencies, and project close-out documentation
  • Assist with quotations, change orders, invoicing support, and contract documentation as required
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure all documentation is complete and up to date
  • Participate in internal planning meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support multiple service projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional customer service
What You Bring to the Team
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related field is considered an asset
  • Previous experience coordinating service operations, construction projects, maintenance work, dispatching, or field operations
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Jonas, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar construction management software is considered an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications is considered an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Role Snapshot
  • Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Onsite
  • Anticipated Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 (based on experience)
  • Pay Schedule: Paid bi-weekly, every second Friday
  • Reports To: Service Manager
