Job summary

Bothwell-Accurate Co. Inc. is seeking a full-time roofing helper to support skilled roofers across multiple GTA locations in Ontario.

You will sweep and prepare roofs, assist with installation and repairs, and help remove old materials to ready surfaces for new roofing projects. The role requires working on various roofs, handling built-up roofing systems, applying waterproof coatings, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial flat roofing.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean roofs to prepare for new roofing materials.
• Provide assistance to skilled roofers installing and repairing roofs, flashings, and surfaces.
• Remove old roofing materials.
• Prepare roofs for re-roofing or new roofing projects.
• Assist with installation, repair and replacement of built-up roofing systems using asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt and gravel.
• Assist with the application of waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
• Pour hot asphalt and tar.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Set up ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place for taking supplies to roofs.

Wage: $36.43 per hour + benefits according to Union Provincial Collective Agreement (full-time position)

Location of Work: Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario
