Job summary

Bothwell-Accurate Co. Inc. is hiring for skilled roofing professionals to join our team working across the Greater Toronto Area.

This full-time role focuses on repairing or replacing commercial roofing systems, detecting leaks, and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial flat roofing, knowledge of single-ply membranes, and the ability to work at heights.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of single-ply roofing systems.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace roofing systems.
• Detect leaks and perform repairs.
• Clean and maintain equipment and tools.
• Install, repair or replace built-up roofing systems with asphalt felts and hot asphalt.
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or masonry surfaces.

Wage:

$41.83 per hour + benefits according to Union Provincial Collective Agreement (F/T position)

Location of Work:

Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Province of Ontario

What You'll Do:

• Repair or replace roofing systems
• Detect leaks
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Repair, replace or install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
• Install, repair or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
• Pour hot asphalt and tar
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
• Setup scaffolding

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Hand-eye co-ordination, physically demanding; Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads; Large workload, Repetitive tasks, overtime required, work under pressure, fast-paced environment.

Area of specialization:

Conventional and inverted built-up system, modified roofing system, rigid pre-formed roofing system, single ply sheet membrane roofing system

Work Site Environment:

At heights, Noisy, Dusty, Dangerous, Outdoors

Work Setting:

Commercial, industrial

Job Requirements:
