Maple Ridge Volkswagen is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to deliver an exceptional customer experience in our Maple Ridge dealership. You will estimate repair costs, welcome customers, and coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate repair orders and timely service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-year dealership experience in a Service Advisor role required.
• CDK experience is an asset.
• Automotive knowledge.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with many priorities.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to remain calm when customers and/or situations are not.
• Organization and follow-up skills.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.

Responsibilities

• Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs.
• Welcoming customers and discussing their needs.
• Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone.
• Develop repair estimates by taking the cost of materials, supplies, and labor into consideration.
• Prepare repair orders by detailing the vehicle’s problems or symptoms.
• Connecting customers to the right auto technician.
• Test-driving vehicles to confirm the customers’ vehicle is repaired as needed.
• Maintaining automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions.
