Job summary

Maple Ridge Chevrolet Buick GMC, part of the AutoCanada network, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will engage clients, discuss needs, prepare repair orders, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely service.

This full-time role requires at least two years of dealership experience, a solid automotive knowledge base, and strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of dealership experience in a Service Advisor role.
• Solid automotive knowledge and understanding of service processes.
• Ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using dealership software and technology.

Responsibilities

Your area of focus

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor who is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience to join our growing team! We're looking for a friendly and motivational individual to fill this position. You will play a key role in curating the service experience for our valued clients who choose to service their vehicles at our dealership.

What drives your day‑to‑day?

• Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs.
• Welcoming customers and discussing their needs.
• Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone.
• Develop repair estimates by considering the cost of materials, supplies, and labor.
• Prepare repair orders by detailing the vehicle’s problems or symptoms.
• Connecting customers to the right auto technician.
• Test‑driving vehicles to confirm the customer’s vehicle is repaired as needed.
• Maintaining automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions.

What Are The Must‑haves

• Minimum of 2‑year dealership experience in a Service Advisor role.
• CDK experience is an asset.
• Automotive knowledge.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with many priorities.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to remain calm when customers and/or situations are not.
