Job summary

Midas is seeking a Service Advisor to support the Shop Manager in maximizing retail sales and profitability while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will interpret inspection results with technicians, present findings to customers, and help source parts and sell repair jobs. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential to meet shop objectives.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to upsell and explain services.
• Clear, effective communication with customers and technicians.
• Collaborative mindset to support peers and shop goals.
• Valid driver’s license for customer pick-up/drop-off and inter-site travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present estimates, source parts and sell jobs to customers.

Responsibilities

The Service Advisor supports the Shop Manager in the optimization of the shop’s retail sales and profitability while delivering superior customer service, including:

• Develop and present estimates, source parts and sell jobs to customers
• Interpret inspection results (working with Technician) and present results to customers
• Deliver superior customer service while listening and consulting customers
• Contributing to the effectiveness of peers to promote success
• Increase and optimize retail sales and shop profitability, achieving or exceeding shop objectives and goals

Qualifications

• General automotive knowledge
• 1 year experience in the automotive industry would be preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills
