Job summary

Fraserway RV in Abbotsford, BC is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to manage the service lane and communicate with technicians and customers from check-in to completion.

You will act as the link between customers and the shop, ensuring smooth workflow and a high-quality service experience while coordinating with warranty teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Shop Advisor in automotive, truck, or RV service environment.
• Strong communication with technicians and customers throughout service lifecycle.
• Ability to create estimates, manage work orders and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately identify service, maintenance, or repair needs.
• Schedule service appointments and manage workflow in the service system.
• Create, review, and manage work orders with clear technician instructions.
• Communicate repair status, timelines, and approvals to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians and warranty teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Review completed work for quality and accuracy before vehicle release.
• Explain estimates and service options to customers.
• Close work orders promptly with accurate documentation.

Location: Abbotsford Dealership, BC

Position Type: Full-Time, Regular

If you’ve worked as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Shop Advisor in an automotive, truck, or RV service environment, this role will feel familiar—with the opportunity to work on recreational vehicles customers truly care about.

We’re looking for a customer-focused Service Advisor who can confidently manage the service lane, communicate effectively with technicians, and keep customers informed from check-in to completion.

What You’ll Do

As a Service Advisor, you’ll act as the link between customers and the shop, ensuring smooth workflow, clear communication, and a high-quality service experience.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Welcoming customers and accurately identifying service, maintenance, or repair needs


• Scheduling service appointments and managing workflow using our service scheduling system


• Creating, reviewing, and managing work orders with clear technician instructions


• Communicating repair status, timelines, and approvals to customers


• Coordinating with technicians and warranty teams to resolve issues efficiently


• Reviewing completed work for quality and accuracy before vehicle release


• Preparing and explaining estimates, recommendations, and service options


• Closing work orders promptly and ensuring accurate invoicing and documentation

Compensation:$23.00 - $28.00 based on experience
