Server (Casual) – The Frob Eatery

Location: Frobisher Inn, Iqaluit, NU

The Frob Eatery, located within the Frobisher Inn, is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our team on a casual basis. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent service, we’d love to hear from you.

Position Overview

As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage service while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This is a casual position with hours scheduled based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Serve meals and drinks in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas
• Process payments and handle cash/point-of-sale transactions
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred
• Valid Food Safe (Food Safety Certification) required
• Valid Responsible Beverage Service certification (ex Serving It Right or equivalent) required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• This is a casual position; hours are not guaranteed
• Employer sponsorship is not available for this position
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada
