Canucks Sports & Entertainment is seeking a Server Assistant to join our premium hospitality team for Abbotsford Canucks games and concerts at Rogers Forum. This onsite, part-time role supports the service team and ensures an exceptional premium guest experience.

Typical shifts are hourly, events-based, and require the ability to lift up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and work weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Join a fast-paced, team-focused environment that values DREAM values.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with varying start times.
• Must be able to safely lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, with long periods of walking, reaching and bending.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment with excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Working with the service team to ensure a premium guest experience.
• Food running from kitchen to premium levels (suites/loge/lounge).
• Stocking glassware and supporting bar operations.
• Clearing tables and maintaining clean dining areas.
• Assisting guests with questions and serving needs.
• Collaborating as part of a professional team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As part of our premium hospitality team, server assistants work alongside the service team to ensure all at the premium level have an exceptional experience. This is an hourly, events-based, part-time position.

A typical shift includes:

• Working alongside service team to ensure an exceptional premium experience for our guests
• Food running from kitchen areas to the premium level, suites/loge/lounge
• Supporting bar operations stocking glassware and product
• Clearing tables and maintaining immaculate eating and serving areas
• Assisting with guest experience questions
• Working collaboratively as a member of a team, continuously interacting in a positive and professional manner
• Other duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with varying start times
• Must be able to safely lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
• Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume environment while maintaining a first-in-class hospitality and food and beverage experience
• Strong communication and listening skills
• A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
• Bussing experience is an asset
• This is an onsite role at Rogers Forum in Abbotsford.
