Job summary

Powell River Educational Services Society is seeking a friendly hospitality associate to provide warm, genuine service from guest arrival to departure in Powell River. You will guide guests through the menu, recommend food and beverages, take orders, and process payments using our POS system, while maintaining high service standards.

• Previous serving experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
• Valid Serving It Right certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Work closely with bartenders, hosts, kitchen staff, and managers to ensure a smooth service.
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and check identification when required.
• Complete opening, running, and closing duties to company standards.
• Help create an energetic, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
