Job summary

Swim Recruiting is helping a global public company headquartered in Vancouver recruit a Senior Systems Analyst with deep Workday expertise. The role focuses on end-to-end administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of Workday across a global user base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business or Systems Analyst on enterprise systems, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience across one or more workstreams such as HCM, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Compensation, or Integrations
• Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, with demonstrated ability to align Workday configuration and integrations to business goals and operational needs
• Experience leading projects end-to-end, including scope definition, stakeholder communication, testing coordination, and production readiness assessments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and manage competing priorities across global, cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and continuously improve Workday across a global user base
• Manage Workday releases, assess new features, coordinate testing, and determine what gets enabled and when
• Oversee integrations with payroll providers, benefits platforms, and identity management tools
• Provide technical sustainment support across HR functional areas including benefits, time tracking, absence, and legislative reporting
• Own Workday security design and administration; lead IT projects from scope to production go-live; contribute to Workday roadmap
