Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Process Engineering (Water Treatment) to lead complex municipal and industrial water projects. You will provide technical leadership, oversee multidisciplinary teams, and ensure delivery from concept through commissioning.

The role emphasizes process design optimization, regulatory compliance, client relationship building, and business development, with travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering required.
• Eligibility for Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in applicable province.
• Extensive experience delivering municipal/industrial water and wastewater projects.
• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams with large budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex water and wastewater treatment projects from concept through commissioning.
• Oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve technical excellence, quality, budget, and schedule objectives.
• Drive process engineering solutions that improve treatment performance, reliability, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships, acting as a strategic advisor throughout project lifecycles.
• Mentor and develop engineers and technical professionals, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Support business growth through proposal development, client engagement, and identification of new opportunities.
• Manage project risks, resources, contracts, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful outcomes.
• Contribute to healthier communities and environmental stewardship through innovative water infrastructure solutions.
