Job summary

Stantec is seeking a senior process mechanical engineer and project manager to lead planning and engineering design of water and wastewater infrastructure. The role involves managing multi-disciplinary teams, delivering design calculations, reports, and construction documents for municipal facilities, pump stations, and treatment plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Process, Environmental, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in water/wastewater and related infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, communication and client-relations skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-disciplinary water/wastewater projects from design through delivery.
• Lead design calculations, equipment sizing and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients and sub-consultants.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and support business development.
• Conduct site visits as needed.
