Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Head of Business Development for Veterinary to own large multi-location deals, from initial meeting to signed contracts. The role covers cross-border veterinary groups with locations across North America and is exclusively focused on closing rather than people management.

You will handle the full sales cycle for strategic accounts, with a $2M annual quota, supported by inbound and SDR meetings. Remote work is available for USA or Canada-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of closing $1M+ per year on large multi-location accounts.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with several decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Own full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close over 3–12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Drive expansion to more locations and services after signing a group.
• Craft proposals with strategists and leadership for key deals.
