As VP of Sales for Veterinary, you own the largest multi-location deals from initial ownership meeting to signed contracts. A single win can cover many locations, requiring coordination among stakeholders and strategic negotiation.

There is no management burden; you are an individual contributor focusing on high-impact, long-cycle deals with multi-location groups across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Proven track record closing large enterprise deals in multi-location settings.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or multi-location marketing/agency buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with multiple decision makers.

Responsabilités

• Own full sales cycle on large multi-location deals from discovery to close (3–12 months).
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Expand to additional locations and services after a signed deal.
• Collaborate with strategists/leadership to build proposals for key deals.

No direct reports. This is an individual contributor seat going after strategic, multi-location veterinary accounts: large groups you open and close yourself.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices. As VP of Sales for Veterinary, you own our largest multi-location veterinary deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.
• Leads fed to you: meetings with veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices, booked by our sales development team or inbound.
• No management. No team to build, hire or run.
• Strategic accounts: veterinary groups with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.

What You Will Own

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.

What You Bring

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into veterinary groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers. If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.
• You would rather close business than manage people.
