Job summary

SP Data Digital is seeking a Senior UX/Service Designer to lead human-centered design initiatives for public sector digital services in a fully remote role across Canada. You will guide enterprise projects, modernization efforts, and public portals, shaping service models to improve digital access for thousands of users.

The role involves planning user research, stakeholder interviews, workshops and usability testing, plus creating journey maps, service blueprints and wireframes.

Qualifications

• Senior UX or Service Designer with end-to-end digital project leadership.
• Proven talent in prototyping, wireframing and journey mapping.
• Experience building enterprise design systems and accessible UI.
• Strong user research, stakeholder interviews and usability testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead human-centered design for digital platforms and public portals.
• Plan and execute user research, workshops and usability testing.
• Create journey maps and service blueprints to improve user pathways.
• Translate requirements into wireframes, flows and interactive prototypes.
• Design accessible, responsive UI across enterprise apps and public web tools.
• Maintain and evolve enterprise design systems and patterns.
• Ensure WCAG 2.2 AA compliance throughout the lifecycle.
