Job summary

iA Financial Group's PPI subsidiary seeks a Senior Consultant, Advanced Underwriting to support advisors with complex underwriting challenges. You will manage new business cases from preliminary review to final underwriting decisions, coordinating with carriers and marketing to ensure efficient case handling and optimal outcomes.

The role requires fluent French and English, 5–10 years in underwriting, and industry designations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in French and English to interpret and advise on underwriting decisions.
• 5–10 years of underwriting experience required or relevant extensive exposure.
• Industry designations (AALU, FALU) preferred.
• Experience serving advisors in high net worth markets is valued.
• Strong communication, organization, and discretion especially with confidential material.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced underwriting support for complex cases and act as the underwriting expert for advisors.
• Coordinate with carriers, underwriters and marketing to ensure timely decisions and clear communications.
• Review medical, financial and other requirements and prepare cases for final underwriting decisions.
• Collaborate with WealthServ and other systems to manage case information and status.
• Support marketing initiatives and training related to Advanced Underwriting.
