Job summary

iA Financial Group is seeking a Senior Actuarial Advisor to lead actuarial transformation projects within our life insurance activities. You will guide end-to-end initiatives, collaborating with partners to evolve our practices and drive sustainable profitability.

You will develop pricing models and tools, including AXIS, while working in a bilingual environment. This role emphasizes initiative, autonomy, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science required.
• FICA or FSA designation required; MAAA is an asset.
• Experience with AXIS, Excel; knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus.
• Approximately eight years of actuarial experience in life insurance or transferable fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial transformation projects from end to end, modernizing experience studies, data, tools and analytics.
• Improve processes related to financial results to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Translate complex actuarial issues into structured, sustainable solutions for business needs.
• Act as trusted advisor to business partners and senior management to support profitability decisions.
• Develop pricing models and tools, including AXIS, and standardize practices.
