Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Engineer to join our Toronto office, focusing on public sector roadway and corridor projects. This leadership role offers opportunities to shape safe, sustainable transportation networks and collaborate with public agencies.

You will lead corridor design, oversee multidisciplinary teams, and work with municipalities to advance complex infrastructure from planning to implementation, while growing Kimley-Horn's presence in the GTA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, transportation focus preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in roadway design and corridor delivery with public sector focus.
• Experience delivering municipal/provincial projects in Ontario.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal and regional roadway corridor projects from planning through detailed design.
• Coordinate corridor studies, environmental coordination, and implementation strategies.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality control across the team.
• Engage with municipal and public sector clients through meetings and reviews.
• Support business development and client relations in the public sector.
