Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer/Planner to join our TPTE team in Markham or Toronto. You will lead traffic and transportation planning for public and private sector clients across Ontario, supervising projects and guiding multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires 8+ years in transportation and strong knowledge of planning methods, safety analyses, and stakeholder engagement. Office-based with occasional field work in Ontario; P.Eng or equivalent is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant transportation experience with PM and BD exposure.
• Proficiency with software like Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, ArcGIS, and Python.
• Certification as PE/ PTOE / RPP or PMP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multimodal planning and traffic analyses for public and private sector clients.
• Prepare technical reports and support proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Guide cross-disciplinary teams and provide technical leadership.
• Coordinate with agencies and stakeholders to advance projects.
