Stantec seeks an experienced Transportation Engineer/Planner to support the Transportation Planning & Traffic Engineering team in Markham or Toronto. You will lead traffic and transportation studies for public and private clients across Ontario, coordinating multimodal analyses and preparing technical reports.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in transportation, PM and BD experience, and proficiency with tools like Synchro, VISSIM, and ArcGIS. Hybrid office work in Canada is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of transportation experience
• 5+ years in project management, business development and proposal preparation
• Proficiency with transportation planning tools such as Synchro, VISSIM and ArcGIS
• Experience with GIS analysis, AutoCAD and MicroStation is a plus
• Certification such as P.Eng, PTOE or RPP is a plus

Responsabilités

• Lead multimodal planning and transportation analyses.
• Manage safety data compilation and safety countermeasure recommendations.
• Operate multiple analysis tools (Synchro, VISSIM, HCS, GIS) and translate results for clients.
• Prepare technical reports documenting study results.
• Provide guidance to staff and manage project budgets and invoicing.
• Develop proposals, budgets, schedules, and liaise with clients.
