Job summary

ADGA is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to support a Department of National Defence initiative within the National Capital Region. The successful candidate will plan, develop, review, and maintain a wide range of technical documentation for complex projects and systems, including user manuals, help text, requirements documentation, and web content.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Technical Writer at senior level.
• Experience producing user manuals, requirements docs, web content and technical docs.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear content.
• Experience supporting multiple complex projects through lifecycle.
• Strong writing, editing, research and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Document and maintain user manuals, help text, requirements documentation and technical content.
• Review documentation standards for completeness, quality and accuracy.
• Develop plans to meet project and stakeholder needs.
• Gather information from developers and SMEs about features and capabilities.
• Assess audiences and define document purpose and scope.
