Job summary

Versaterm is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead end-to-end recruitment, focusing on confidential and leadership roles, and to deliver TA programs owned by the Manager, Talent Acquisition. You will partner with the C-suite, shape hiring strategy, and build talent pipelines.

This role requires 7+ years in recruitment in tech/software, executive presence, and experience with AI-enabled tools. Government security clearance is required; Canada work authorization is necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive recruitment or talent acquisition experience, including Senior Manager/Director roles.
• Executive presence with credibility to advise and influence C-suite and senior leaders.
• Proven success delivering TA initiatives from planning through implementation with strong PM and analytical skills.
• Experience using AI-enabled recruiting tools and automation to improve efficiency.
• Strong sourcing techniques, ATS (Greenhouse), and analytics.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building across all levels.
• A collaborative, adaptable mindset focused on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executives to understand hiring needs and shape role requirements and plans.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for Senior Manager, Director, and other critical searches, including confidential searches.
• Develop proactive sourcing and talent-mapping strategies for senior talent.
• Deliver a high-quality, high-touch candidate experience for senior candidates.
• Use metrics and compensation intelligence to advise leaders and guide strategy.
• Lead planning and delivery of TA initiatives, managing scope, timelines, and stakeholders.
• Apply critical thinking to challenge assumptions and improve processes.
• Use AI-enabled tools to improve recruiting effectiveness with human oversight.
• Support manager training, structured interviewing, and inclusive hiring.
• Coach TA team on best practices for complex searches.
• Support Executive/VP searches and other mandates.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and candidate data privacy.
