Job summary

Clean Harbors in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking a Professional Class 1/3 Driver to join our safety‑conscious team. You will operate and drive equipment to and from work sites, perform pre‑trip inspections, and ensure safe loading of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste.

The role offers competitive hourly wages CA$22.35–CA$24.43, full‑time status, benefits after 30 days, company vehicles, and opportunities for growth. A valid Class 1 or 3 license and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Class 1 or Class 3 license is required.
• Able to operate a manual transmission.
• Experience with heavy equipment and vehicle operation.
• Experience operating vacuum, high-pressure, chemical unit, tanker, hot oiler, dry ice or core cleaning is an asset.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive equipment to and from work sites.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous goods.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to a Clean Harbors or 3rd party disposal facility.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers.
• Do roadside repairs as needed.
• Maintain and clean company equipment.

Our experienced EO/Drivers operate; Hydro Vacs, Wet Vac Trucks, High Pressure Trucks, Vacuum Trucks, Combo Units, Chemical Units, trailers, tankers and more to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from generators to Clean Harbors facilities.

• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day.


• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
