Based in Calgary, the position offers a 1-year initial contract with four days onsite in downtown Calgary and potential extension based on performance and project needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in strategic buying for materials and services procurement.
• Experience in midstream or owner/operator environments.
• Proven ability to run RFQ/RFP processes, bid evaluation, and supplier selection.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion or comparable ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-complexity requisitions and PO creation for RFx events and capital-project needs.
• Select buying channels and sourcing approaches including catalog/BPA usage and contract calls.
• Lead supplier identification, market scans, pricing comparisons, and bid analysis.
• Develop TCO analyses, market intel, and supplier performance data to guide sourcing.
• Maintain compliant sourcing documentation and support audits.
• Partner with Category Management to execute strategies and reduce non-preferred spend.
• Coordinate with Contract Management on terms, amendments, or new agreements.
