Fluor Corporation in Calgary is seeking a Procurement Lead to guide procurement execution for major capital projects. You will lead a small team, coordinate with Engineering, Construction, suppliers, and clients, and ensure procurement milestones are met to support project success.

The role involves long-term contract work with significant stakeholder interaction, travel as needed, and a focus on process improvement and compliance with project requirements.

Qualificações

• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of procurement or supply chain experience on industrial projects.
• Experience leading procurement teams and mentoring staff.
• Strong client-facing relationships and stakeholder management.
• Experience in mining, oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, or similar projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office and procurement systems.
• Professional supply chain certifications are considered an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Lead procurement activities for engineered equipment, bulk materials, and major packages throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and oversight.
• Develop and execute project procurement strategies aligned with schedules and objectives.
• Interface regularly with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, suppliers, and client representatives.
• Serve as primary procurement point of contact for client discussions, meetings, and reporting.
• Oversee RFQs, bidder communications, evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Lead negotiations related to pricing, delivery, terms and contract administration.
• Manage purchase orders through full lifecycle including changes and closeout.
• Monitor milestones, supplier commitments, and execution risks.
• Identify challenges and implement proactive procurement solutions.
