Job summary

Agilus by Synergie in Calgary is seeking a Senior Contracts & Procurement Specialist for a one-year contract starting in November. The role focuses on leading sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, supplier selection, and contract management across major capital projects in the energy sector.

Responsibilities include managing RFPs/RFQs, developing contracting strategies, monitoring supplier performance, and guiding project teams through commercial decisions, with strong emphasis on risk

Qualifications

• 8+ years of procurement, sourcing, contracts, or supply chain experience.
• Experience with major capital projects in energy, oil & gas, pipelines, utilities, industrial construction, or infrastructure.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM, construction, engineering, equipment, or service contracts.
• SCMP or similar professional designation.
• Oracle ERP or comparable procurement systems experience.
• Strong experience leading competitive sourcing events and supplier negotiations.
• Proven contract management from award through closeout.
• Hands-on change, claims, and contract administration.

One-year contract in downtown Calgary starting in November! Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Contracts & Procurement Specialist in the energy sector in Calgary, Alberta. Our client is looking for an experienced procurement and contracts professional to support major capital projects across their business. This role will lead sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, supplier selection, and contract management activities while partnering closely with Project Management, Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead competitive sourcing events, including RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and contract awards.
