What You’ll Do

• Platform Architecture & Scalability: Design and optimize a multi-tenant microservices architecture on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Generative AI: Lead LLM fine-tuning, RAG workflows, data pipelines, and model monitoring.
• API Infrastructure: Build and maintain RESTful, gRPC, and event-driven APIs with secure authentication, rate limiting, and versioning.
• Team Leadership & Delivery: Mentor and manage engineers, DevOps, and QA using Agile/Lean practices—driving sprint planning, code reviews, and test automation.
• Client Collaboration: Partner on RFP responses, technical proposals, and on-site workshops for C-suite and quant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years in fintech or capital-markets technology.
• 5+ years leading SaaS teams in cloud, microservices, containers, and data pipelines.
• 3+ years delivering production Generative AI systems (LLMs, fine-tuning, RAG).
• Deep expertise in securing and scaling enterprise APIs (REST, gRPC, WebSockets).
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Full-time on-site presence at our Montreal office.

Preferred

• Proven track record of scaling a SaaS startup in capital markets.
• Experience with Python quant libraries (QuantLib, Backtrader, Pyfolio).
• Familiarity with real-time data platforms (Kafka, kdb+).
• Background in pre-sales engineering or technical consulting for financial services.
