Job description

Toronto-based infrastructure company specializing in CIPP (Cure In Place Pipe) is seeking a full-time Site Supervisor. The candidate will work closely with Project Managers, consultants, sub-trades, and client representatives. The role emphasizes safety, schedule, quality of work, budget, and client service. The candidate must be able to work within a team and serve as a team leader on-site.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work shifts may be daily or nightly as required by the project.
• Maintain and enforce all Health and Safety policies specific to the work, company, site, and applicable laws.
• Communicate effectively with the Project Manager regarding daily activities, revenue, expenditures, and forecast potential site issues.
• Ensure site safety and order for all workers and visitors.
• Supervise, direct, coach, coordinate, and plan activities of site personnel, sub-trades, and contractors, enforcing company SOPs.
• Review project schedule, manpower, and materials regularly, reporting concerns to management.
• Manage municipal and consultant inspections.
• Address deficiencies promptly before demobilization.
• Attend daily or weekly site meetings as required.
• Willingness to travel outside the GTA and province as needed.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a site supervisor or superintendent in civil infrastructure, focusing on municipal water systems.
• Valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle with insurance, and ability to travel across Ontario.
• Construction-related degree or diploma is an asset.
• Understanding of drawings and contract documents, with ability to identify and mitigate issues.
• Strong communication, time management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
