Job summary

MPI, a North American construction company, seeks a Senior Site Superintendent to oversee ground-up projects in Canada. You will manage on-site activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

You will lead safety initiatives, conduct site inspections, develop schedules, and maintain documentation while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading new build ICI projects; warehouse experience is an asset.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work within tight project timelines.
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software and tools.
• A focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain smooth project operations.
• Monitor and enforce health and safety standards on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve on-site challenges and provide practical solutions to keep projects on track.
• Manage project documentation, including permits, reports, and other required records.
• Foster strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
