Job summary

Michael Page International (Canada) is seeking a seasoned Site Superintendent for high-rise residential and ICI projects across Ontario. The role requires 5–15+ years in mid-high rise construction, with 5+ storey wood-frame and concrete developments and underground parking experience. MBA/Eng?

Preferences apply. You will lead site teams, ensure QA/QC, and enforce MOL safety standards. The successful candidate will join a reputable firm with a strong corporate culture and offer a base salary

Qualifications

• 5–15+ years of experience as a mid-high rise Site Superintendent.
• Experience with 5+ storey wood-frame and concrete developments with underground parking is a must.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management; MBA/M.Eng. preferred.
• Strong team player with a solutions-focused mindset.
• Thorough knowledge in designing and building large-scale multi-family projects.
• Quality assurance, quality control and safety compliance on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the construction project and all site operations.
• Upholding quality of work and materials – QA/QC standards.

Job Description

• Supervising the construction project and all the operations on the site
• Ensuring that the quality of work and materials is upheld - Upholding Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards
• Organizing and Supervising site staff, trades and contractors and ensuring that they are performing as required and reporting progress
• Ensuring that the health and safety project plans and MOL requirements are implemented and followed
• Creating, Monitoring, and updating project schedules and ensuring the schedule and look ahead schedules are followed and provide updates to the Project Manager/Senior Management as required

The Successful Applicant

• 5-15+ years of experience in construction as a mid-high rise Site Superintendent working on 5+ storey wood-frame and concrete developments with underground parking a must
• Have a post secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent (MBA and M. Eng. Preferred)
• Strong team player with a solutions focused mindset and ability to understand sophisticated ways
• Possess thorough knowledge in designing and building large scale multi family construction projects
• Additional tasks and duties as required
