CIBC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support Tier 1 Wealth Management Trading platforms, ensuring high availability, resiliency, and performance. You will lead SRE initiatives, work with vendors, and coordinate incident responses in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Application Support, SRE, or Production Operations within a financial institution.
• Experience supporting Tier 1, 24x7 production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, and Major Incident Management.
• Experience managing external technology vendors.
• Knowledge of Wealth Management and trading platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting and automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of SRE practices to improve availability, resiliency, observability, and operational excellence.
• Provide senior‑level production support for Tier 1 Wealth Management Trading apps in a 24x7 environment.
• Coordinate resolution of critical incidents, service disruptions and escalations.
• Manage vendor performance and conduct regular service reviews with stakeholders.
• Develop monitoring, automation, and operational tooling improvements and runbooks.
