The ideal candidate will bring 20+ years of multi-domain SAP program leadership across transformations, implementations, migrations, and upgrades, navigating cross-functional stakeholders from executive to operations to ensure successful delivery and post-go-live stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of transformation, implementation, modernization, carve-outs, cut-overs, migrations, and upgrades.
• Develop program strategy, delivery roadmaps, and success metrics aligned with business priorities.
• Govern multi-workstream programs by managing dependencies and coordinating technical, operational, and business teams.
• Manage stakeholder alignment across executive sponsors, technical leads, and operational stakeholders.
• Oversee risk, budget, and change control to protect scope, timeline, and quality.
• Drive organizational readiness, cut-over planning, and post-go-live support.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams and vendor partners.

Job description

Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Project Manager to join their project immediately and will run for 1 year with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of experience across all project types transformations, implementations, modernization, carve-outs, cut-overs, migrations, and upgrades spanning strategy through execution along with a proven track record of leading large-scale, multi-workstream programs from business case and roadmap development through delivery and post-go-live stabilization. They will also demonstrate the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments and align stakeholders across executive, technical, and operational teams. This is a hybrid role that requires working on-site 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of transformation, implementation, modernization, carve-out, cut-over, migration, and upgrade initiatives from business case and roadmap development through execution and post-go-live stabilization.
• Develop program strategy, delivery roadmaps, and success metrics that translate business objectives into actionable plans aligned with organizational priorities.
• Govern multi-workstream programs by managing dependencies, driving integrated planning, and coordinating across technical, operational, and business teams.
• Manage stakeholder alignment across executive sponsors, technical leads, and operational stakeholders through clear communication, status reporting, and escalation management.
• Oversee risk, budget, and change control to protect scope, timeline, and delivery quality across complex programs.
• Drive organizational readiness, cut-over planning, and post-go-live support to ensure business readiness, user adoption, and stable operations.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams and vendor partners, fostering accountability, collaboration, and delivery capability across the organization.
