Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in ERP or large-scale transformations.
• Experience leading enterprise projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ERP implementations in public sector or government environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of ERP and business transformation projects.
• Develop and maintain project management plans, schedules, budgets, and communication strategies.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Manage project governance activities and prepare documentation required for executive approvals.
• Present project updates, risks, issues, and recommendations to senior leadership and governance committees.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders across multiple organizations.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resource planning, and dependencies.
• Identify project risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and oversee corrective actions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are achieved on schedule.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including: Project Charters, Project Management Plans, Scope Documents, Project Schedules, Risk Registers, Change Requests, Cost Plans, Progress Reports, Close-out Reports, Lessons Learned.
• Conduct project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices.

We’re seeking an experienced Senior ERP Project Manager to lead a large-scale, enterprise-wide digital transformation initiative within the public sector. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the delivery of a multi-year modernization program focused on ERP implementation, business transformation, governance, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and governance through execution, reporting, and project close-out, while working with senior executives, business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• A minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience, or 5+ years of Project Management experience combined with a recognized professional Project Management certification.
• Experience managing large, complex, multi-year transformation initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups.
• Proven experience leading enterprise projects with:
• large multidisciplinary teams;
• multiple business and technical stakeholders;
• cross-functional collaboration;
• significant organizational impact.
• Demonstrated experience developing and authoring project management documentation such as:
• Business Cases
• Project Charters
• Project Management Plans
• Project Schedules
• Status Reports
• Executive Presentations
• Close-out Reports
• Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and change throughout the project lifecycle.

Preference will be given to candidates holding one or more of the following certifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• PRINCE2
• PMBOK
• Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• Microsoft Project Certification
• Risk Management Certification

Experience delivering ERP modernization initiatives, particularly SAP implementations or upgrades, within large enterprise or government environments will be considered a strong asset.
