About the Role

War Room is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our team. Reporting to the CRO, you will be instrumental in driving revenue, developing new client relationships, and aligning our services with client needs. This role is strategic, requiring a consultative sales approach, and offers opportunities for leadership as our sales team expands.

Note: This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days/week in the office, with full in-office onboarding for the first 3 months. Our office is located at 210 W Broadway, Vancouver, operating hours are 9-5 pm.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development: Generate leads through research, outreach, networking, and creative methods.
  2. Client Discovery: Understand client goals and challenges to craft compelling proposals.
  3. Consultative Selling: Recommend and position solutions aligned with client objectives.
  4. Relationship Management: Build long-term client relationships and facilitate smooth handoffs to account teams.
  5. Proposal Development: Collaborate internally to create tailored proposals.
  6. Sales Process Management: Manage pipelines, prioritize prospects, and meet revenue targets.
  7. Strategic Planning: Contribute to growth strategies by identifying market opportunities.
  8. Leadership Potential: Demonstrate leadership and help establish sales best practices.

Skills + Experience

  • 6-8+ years in business development or sales, preferably in digital marketing or advertising.
  • Proven success in closing new business opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing and technical services.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills with a consultative approach.
  • Experience working with technical and marketing teams on proposals.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, and driven.
  • Leadership potential, with interest in mentoring or managing sales teams.

  • Experience with programmatic advertising.
