As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating, prospecting, soliciting, and closing new accounts leveraging all of C.H. Robinson's logistics services (including but not limited to : Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, and Outsource Solutions). You will be in daily contact with potential customers with gross sales from $60-200 Million, building relationships, problem solving, and assessing their needs. This position will promote and sell C.H. Robinson's products and services in accordance with organizational sales policies and processes, and in pursuit of established objectives.

Responsibilities :

  • Prospect with a "hunter" mentality via phone, internet, fieldwork, referrals, industry networking, and trade shows
  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities independently
  • Conduct inside sales : initial discovery with customers via phone and email
  • Collaborate internally on pricing strategy and account plans
  • Assist with account management issues post-sale as needed
  • Establish credit terms with clients in line with company policies
  • Manage sales funnel information for prospective customers
  • Sell C.H. Robinson's core services
  • Review weekly / monthly sales activities with management
  • Engage in self-development and training opportunities

Required Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years sales or account management experience
  • Ability to sell both inside (phone / email) and outside (face-to-face)
  • Strategic, relationship-building, negotiation skills, and business acumen
  • Effective communication across all organizational levels including C-Level
  • Ability to collaborate internally
  • Resilient, competitive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Compensation Range :

67,300.00 - $103,400.00

The base pay reflects the minimum and maximum across all Canada locations, with individual pay determined by location, skills, experience, and education. This range does not include variable compensation.
