About the position

Are you a seasoned sales professional with a passion for high-speed imaging technology? Kron Technologies Inc., a leading manufacturer of cost-effective high speed cameras and accessories for academia, R&D and the film and television industry, is seeking a Senior Sales Advisor.


As a Senior Sales Advisor, you will actively visit new and existing customers to uncover new opportunities, investigate the needs and abilities of the customer, present the Kron Technologies solutions so that the customer views it as an enabler, gain commitment and track the order all the way through the purchasing process. The successful Senior Sales Advisor is organized, able to manage multiple accounts and will have excellent communications skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cameras, lenses and lighting accessories/requirements, and a proven track record of success. You will be working closely with our Sales Manager, Sales Reps and Applications Engineer to complete tasks such as:

  1. Generate new business relationships and develop sales strategies to attract new clients
  2. Responsible for all sales activities from lead generation to sales closure
  3. Learn the industry and provide your knowledge & feedback to assist the customer in understanding their needs
  4. Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  5. Develop and grow relationships with customers by e-mail, over the phone and in person
  6. Ownership of an end to end sales process with prospects, customers and business partners, processing estimates and invoices for customers
  7. This position requires sales, technical and customer service skills
  8. Document activities and keep CRM and other Systems updated
  9. Ensure that orders are completed in accordance with company policy
  10. Product Educating: Educate customers about high speed camera systems in addition to lighting and lens recommendations to find a tailored solution for their needs.

Qualifications

  1. Background/knowledge of cameras, lighting, and lenses OR Engineering experience.
  2. Sales Experience: Minimum 5 years in technical sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  3. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with prospective customers.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting solutions clearly and persuasively, negotiating deals, and conveying the value of Kron Technologies products.
  5. Ability to understand customer needs and align them with our company's offerings.
  6. Excellent sales and negotiation skills to drive partner engagement and achieve sales targets.
  7. Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitor landscape.
  8. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  9. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for success in this role, ensuring the ability to effectively manage multiple accounts simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  10. Familiarity with CRM systems to issue quotes, invoices, process purchase orders and process orders to ship to our customers.

Perks, Compensation and Benefits

As a full time employee, you will be compensated on a salary based on experience and skills, between $80,000 - $100,000 CAD per year. You will receive full benefits that include health, dental, optical, prescription, RRSP with matching and a Health/Lifestyle Spending Account. The use of the shop space is open to all employees for personal projects. We offer educational benefits for our employees that wish to enhance their careers. We often have company lunches and pot-lucks and other group activities.
