AtkinsRéalis, a leading Canadian nuclear engineering group, seeks an experienced Computer Systems Engineer to guide staff, supervise teams, and design digital equipment systems for safety-critical plant control and networks.

The role covers requirements, testing, cyber security documentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Candidates should have an honours degree in engineering, Ontario PE eligibility, and 12–15 years in computer controls; a hybrid work model is offered.

Formación

• Honours degree in computer or electrical engineering
• Professional Engineer eligibility in Ontario
• 12–15 years in computer controls environment preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to Computer Systems Engineering staff
• Supervise, coordinate and review work of engineers and support staff
• Prepare requirements and preliminary designs for digital equipment systems
• Develop tools for test/development systems for safety-critical software
• Execute software engineering tasks: requirements, design, coding, testing and documentation
• Evaluate vendor products and prepare implementation procedures for software design, development and V&V processes
• Assist in planning design, verification and testing of safety, control and monitoring systems
• Interface with engineering disciplines, suppliers and other divisions
• Develop cyber security processes and documentation for project activities and identify vulnerabilities/controls for end-devices
• Deliver technical presentations accurately and effectively
• Manage work priorities, schedules and budgets to meet project goals
