Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Senior Safety Advisor to provide strategic health and safety leadership across a diverse portfolio of renewable power programs and operating sites, strengthening safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will partner with leaders, employees and contractors to drive improvements, implement safety programs, mentor safety professionals, and support emergency response as a trusted safety SME. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or related field, or equivalent experience in electrical safety or renewables.
• 6+ years of progressive health & safety experience in renewable energy, oil & gas, or petrochemical sectors.
• CRSP or CSP or equivalent certification, or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe.
• Ability to lead change, build relationships, negotiate, and influence without direct authority.
• Strong investigation, data interpretation, reporting, and risk-mitigation skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational abilities; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety culture and fatality prevention principles across operations and partners.
• Lead Safety Management Program initiatives and contractor safety programs.
• Partner with leaders to strengthen safety, conduct risk assessments, and drive corrective actions.
• Provide advanced expertise on regulations, audits, inspections, investigations and safe work practices.
• Analyze safety data and trends to identify improvements and develop targeted solutions.
• Mentor safety professionals, facilitate training, and support emergency response as SME.
