Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Senior Safety Advisor to provide strategic health and safety leadership across renewable power programs and operating sites in Canada. You will drive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with leaders, employees, and contractors to implement comprehensive safety programs and improvements.

You will mentor safety professionals, conduct risk assessments, analyze incident data, and support emergency response activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher education in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in electrical safety or renewable power operations.
• CRSP or CSP certification or equivalent advanced safety certification.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program implementations and continuous improvement across sites and contractors.
• Partner with leaders to strengthen safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive risk mitigation.
• Mentor safety professionals, facilitate training, and support emergency response activities.
• Analyze safety data and incidents to identify trends and develop corrective actions.
• Communicate effectively to stakeholders and produce clear risk reports.
• Travel to field sites for assessments, audits, and safety support (approx. 50%).
