Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Senior Safety Advisor to provide strategic health and safety leadership across renewable power programs and operating sites in Canada. You will strengthen safety culture, prevent serious injuries, and ensure regulatory compliance, partnering with leaders, employees, and contractors to drive continuous improvement.

You will mentor safety professionals, lead cross-functional projects, and support emergency response as a trusted safety SME, with strong emphasis on audits,

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma, or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline or equivalent combination.
• 6+ years of health & safety experience in renewable energy, oil and gas, or petrochemical.
• CRSP/CSP or other recognized safety designation, or willingness to obtain within timeframe.
• Ability to lead change and influence decisions across teams.
• Strong investigation, data interpretation, reporting, and risk mitigation skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• French language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety leadership across renewable power programs and sites; drive continuous improvement.
• Sustain Safety Management Program initiatives and contractor safety programs.
• Partner with leaders to strengthen safety culture and improve compliance; develop corrective actions.
• Provide advanced expertise on safety regulations, audits, investigations, and safety systems.
• Analyze safety performance and incident data to identify improvements and solutions.
• Mentor safety professionals; facilitate training; support emergency response as SME.
